The recent NEC Electronics Europe second Industrial Open Day in Barcelona brought together over one hundred market-leading customers and enabled them to experience first hand the company’s latest technology developments. The Open Day was hosted by key senior NEC Electronics representatives from Europe, Japan and America, who demonstrated the advancements in technology solutions that meet the visions of the industrial market.

Now over 100 people strong, it is totally focused on advancing industrial solutions throughout Europe across the major industrial market segments.
The Open Day highlighted development of semiconductor and TFT-LCD products, alongside key aspects such as corporate strategies, globalization and environmentally friendly manufacturing. Also present were independent analysts and industry experts from the fields of industrial networking, environmental services and healthcare.
The event also featured an interactive exhibition for the key sectors of motor control, building management, industrial automation and healthcare, and incorporated demonstrations of the latest technology solutions within microcontrollers, ASIC, ASSP, wired and wireless communications, power management, sensors, TFT-LCD, fiber optics and microwave devices.
