Scalable Network Technologies, a leader in wireless network evaluation, announced a call for papers to be presented during six user panel discussions at QualNet World ’08, to be held November 19-21, 2008, in San Diego, CA. Submissions are being accepted in six topic areas:


• Test and Evaluation of Net-Centric Systems

• Visualization of Combat Networks

• MANET and Sensor Networks

• Electronic Warfare and Information Assurance

• Training and Teaching with QualNet

• QualNet University Program Award of Distinction Projects

Each panelist will have 10-15 minutes to present their QualNet project and lead a discussion with fellow panelists on topics related to their work. The first four panel discussions will take place on Thursday, November 20, and the remaining two on Friday, November 21.

Interested parties may submit an abstract of their proposed paper at www.scalable-networks.com/events/qualnetworld/speaker_abstract.php. Abstract submissions are due by September 15, 2008. If an abstract is accepted, final papers must be submitted and approved no later than Friday, October 17, 2008.

In addition, for the first time Scalable Network Technologies is sponsoring a program to recognize interesting, innovative work being done by university graduate student users of QualNet. Graduate students who are currently members of the QualNet University Program may apply and compete for an Award of Distinction to be presented at QualNet World. A cash prize of $300 will be awarded to each QUP Award of Distinction recipient as well as free admission to QualNet World.
