LadyBug Announces Meter-sensor Contract from US Government

LadyBug Technologies LLC announced this month that the company has received the first in what is expected to be a series of sales orders from the US Government for its PowerSensor+™ line of miniaturized USB power meter-sensors.

The first order placed was for LadyBug’s model LB479A, a miniaturized 10 MHz to 10 GHz USB power sensor capable of measuring CW, pulse and other types of signals. This model features VSWR of 1.09, operates over a wide dynamic range of -60 to +20 dBm, and offers Type-N, SMA and TNC connectivity options, both male and female.

While terms of the sales contract were not disclosed, company representatives described the order as substantial, and likely leading to follow-on business.

“We are pleased to have filled this order,” said Richard Hawkins, president of LadyBug. “It comes on the heels of robust sales levels for the company in the first quarter of this year. We are forecasting 2008 to be our strongest year yet in terms of units sold, revenue, and profit, and all indications are that the upward trend will continue.”
