Inphi‘s 1385DX is a broadband 1:8 demultiplexer operating at bit rates from DC to 12.5 Gbps. Its data input is a highly sensitive, low-hysteresis latched comparator with an analog bandwidth of 14 GHz.

The 1385DX includes a synchronization circuit that allows two or more DEMUXs to be automatically synchronized. The output clock frequency can be either 1/8th that of the input clock or 1/16th.

A separate power supply input to the output buffers allows the output common mode voltage to be set as low as 1.7 V. The high-speed data and clock I/O are CML buffers with on-chip back-terminations.
