Inphi® Corp. announced it has won the Fabless Semiconductor Association’s (FSA) award for the industry’s “Most Respected Private Fabless Company.” Members of the semiconductor industry cited Inphi’s significant achievements in products, its vision, and the company’s considerable future opportunities in the semiconductor industry in casting their votes. The FSA, recently rebranded as The Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA), is the leading semiconductor association and the voice of the global fabless business model.

“We are pleased to recognize Inphi with this honor and look forward to the company’s future success in the timing, instrumentation, optical and microwave communication markets,” said Jodi Shelton, co-founder and executive director of the GSA.

The GSA, formerly the FSA, works to accelerate the growth and increase the return on invested capital of the global semiconductor industry by fostering a more effective fabless ecosystem through collaboration, integration and innovation. It addresses the challenges within the supply chain including IP, EDA/design, wafer manufacturing, test and packaging to enable industry-wide solutions. Members include companies throughout the supply chain representing 25 countries across the globe.
