The Microwave Innovation Group (MiG) introduced the latest version of WASP-NET®, the fast hybrid EM CAD and optimization engine that utilizes the advantages of all four common EM solvers (MM/FE/MoM/FD) in one tool. An important new feature is a new graphical user interface with all modern visualization features that makes this advanced CAD tool user friendly for even the inexperienced EM CAD engineer.


Other features include a user friendly synthesis wizard for designing slot-arrays with prescribed performance, advanced MoM algorithms for handling large antenna arrays such as narrow-wall slot-arrays, microstrip antennas, reflect-arrays, microstrip components such as filters, transformers and spiral inductors, efficient inclusion of losses, prediction of power capability, dielectric loaded horns, arbitrarily shaped OMT structures, advanced coax and squarax elements, and true 64-bit capability with enhanced memory handling.
