Herley Industries Inc. announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Micro Systems Inc., Ft. Walton Beach, FL, has received a $1.82 M order for airborne avionics from a major US prime contractor.
The award is for Transponder/Vehicle Interface (TVI) assemblies used on a US Air Force full scale aerial target, and represents the exercise of a contract option for TVI production. Wayne Armstrong, Micro Systems president, commented, "We are pleased to be a key partner on this important program, and anticipate many future years of production."
