EADS, a global leader in aerospace, defense and related services, and the BCI group have signed a License Agreement concerning all mobility technologies developed by the companies of the BCI group. This agreement will allow EADS to complement its own mobility technologies portfolio and to integrate the new technologies into its full product range.

With the help of the new technologies EADS is improving further its product technological performances. Aeronautic platforms, terrestrial and maritime security solutions and other applications linked to the use of satellite data and to imagery will benefit from these technologies.

This technological integration also offers new growth potentials to all parties involved in sectors linked to geolocalised service applications. EADS will thus be able to develop new partnerships, if appropriate, with other industrial players helping them benefit from integrated tools, favoring quick and efficient development of these new services.

Jean Botti, chief technical officer of EADS, stated, “For EADS the field of mobility is a strategic opportunity and therefore we wish to play a significant role in this area. With this license agreement, EADS prepares proactively the technological transformation that mobility in all its forms will bring.”
