First Things First:

In the week ending March 16, 2007, the RF to Light 100 dropped 0.1%, YTD +2% at 2500. NASDQ down 0.6%. Qualcomm (up 10%) settled some of the lawsuits with Broadcom (up 1%).

In the News:

Another rough week on Wall Street. New U.S. inflation fears and concerns that the U.S. subprime mortgage market could disrupt the global economy caused a sharp sell-off mid-week. The Dow Jones ended down 1.4%, S&P 500 down 1.1%. The Dollar is at a three-month low to the Euro,  at 0.7509. The good news is that the growth rate of the WLI index increased to 3.7% from 3.3%, bouncing back to a five-week high. Based on this indicator current recession fears are not justified.
