Huber + Suhner has opened a branch office in Mumbai to expand its customer base in the communication, transportation and industrial markets in the western part of India.

The initiative aims to take advantage of the city’s position as a cosmopolitan metropolis and the economic capital of the country. Apart from major Indian private telecom companies like TATAs and Reliance, a number of transportation, space and defense, and instrumentation organizations are based in Mumbai.

The new office will provide sales technical support to the company’s customers based in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa and the western part of Madhya Pradesh. It will work in close coorporation with Huber + Suhner’s Indian corporate office in Gurgaon.
