CTS International, a provider of network planning, design and optimization solutions, has successfully completed its contract with Hutchison 3G Austria GmbH (H3G) for its Ellipse Microwave Planning Tool Suite. The company has bought a significant number of Ellipse Microwave Planning licenses for the planning and design of its complete national 3G radio transmission network.
H3G’s transmission planning and engineering is carried out from three regional offices. Therefore, it was important for the microwave planning solution to be accessed from all three locations. It is connected to a unique database with different security access levels according to user profiles and, in addition, allows data to be easily imported and exported from current market standard tools and from Excel.
