Comtech Receives $2.4 M for Mobile Satellite Equipment

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. announced that its Maryland-based subsidiary, Comtech Mobile Datacom Corp., received orders totaling $2.4 M in support of ongoing Movement Tracking System Program activities. The orders were received on the company's Movement Tracking System, or MTS, contract with the US Army.

The orders are primarily for the supply of installation kits and technical support services. Total orders received to date against the $418.2 M MTS contract increased to $355.6 M.

Fred Kornberg, president and chief executive officer of Comtech Telecommunications Corp., said, "These new orders further demonstrate the importance our technical service and support capabilities play in meeting this critical program's requirements."
