7 layers, an international service group for the wireless communications industry, with test and service centers in Europe, Asia and the US, has consolidated and enlarged its US-based offices and laboratories in order to further expand its services. Following continuous growth since 1999, the company is moving into larger premises, close to its previous facilities in Irvine, CA, where it has become a leading telecommunications service company covering all major wireless technologies such as GSM, GPRS, EDGE, TTY, WCDMA (UMTS) and Bluetooth®. Also, the US laboratory is PTCRB accredited and CTIA authorized.

The new building will house all laboratories and offices, including the validation and development teams, as well as all client rooms for visiting customers. Many upgrades have been made in order to offer the best possible telecommunications infrastructure. Newly designed and spacious client rooms were created with customer privacy in mind.

Wilfried Klassmann, president and CEO of 7 layers in the US, commented, "The continuously growing demand for the 7 layers test and development services has made it necessary to find better and larger facilities, offering a more efficient work environment for our clients and our personnel. We made great efforts in finding and appointing the new premises in the vicinity of our old buildings, thus staying within easy reach of Los Angeles and San Diego, and we feel certain that our clients will benefit from this move considerably.”
