TeraVicta Technologies showcased its new RF MEMS switch technology last week at the European Microwave Week Exhibition. These SPDT RF MEMS swtiches operate in a frequency range from DC to 20 GHz, offer a high isolation of 21 dB at 20 GHz, high linearity of IP3 > 65 dBm, low insertion loss of < 0.5 dB at 20 GHz and low power consumption of < 10 µW. Other features include: switching speed of < 100 µS, peak RF power of 10 W, life cycle reliability of 50 million and an ultra small size: 3.8 x 5.1 x 1.25 mm in CSP-15. Applications for these RF MEMS switches include high performance RF switching, automated test equipment and instrumentation.
