Pascall Electronics has now introduced a dual loop PLDRO to its range, which will be manufactured at the company's Isle of Wight facility in the south of England, UK.
The Pascall BP2 PLDRO has been developed to offer a 5 or 10 MHz reference phase locked source. This latest model offers exceptional performance and reliability in the range of 3 to 13 GHz with a DC power consumption of less than 2 W. The standard output power is +13 dBm with a typical phase noise at 9 GHz of better than -105 dBc/Hz at 1 kHz offset and -135 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset. The DC voltage required for operation is 11.5 to 16 V and the standard operating temperature range is -45 to +85 deg C.
These units are designed and constructed to meet the increasing demand for high performance oscillators, where excellent temperature stability combined with low phase noise are key performance parameters.
