SP5T PIN Diode Switch

The SP5T, PIN diode switch, model MSN-5DT-05-STD with options 1422, 12X and LVT operates from 14.0 to 22.0 GHz with a minimum of 80 dB of isolation and a maximum of 5.0 dB of insertion loss. The switch accomplishes this while also having a maximum switching speed of 30 ns on/off and a maximum rise/fall of 10 ns. It offers a maximum in-band power leakage of -65 dBm with a total harmonic distortion of 70 dB at +10 dBm I/P. Size: 2.5" x 1.5" x 0.40".

Receiving Multicoupler

The model AMC20102-16N is a receiving multicoupler that provides a 16-way split function and operates in the 20 to 2000 MHz spectrum. Gain is 2 dB nominal with ±2 dB flatness. Noise figure is 8 dBm maximum above 100 MHz. Third-order output intercept is +16 dBm and the IP2 is +40 dBm. Isolation between outputs is 35 dB. SPDT MEMS Switch

The model DKM812 is a single pole double-throw (SPDT) reflective RF switch that utilizes breakthrough MEMS technology to provide low insertion loss, high linearity and high isolation in a compact hermetic chip-scale package. Precision Type N Attenuator

The model 352-019-XXX is a precision 2 W fixed attenuator that has a frequency range of DC to 18 GHz with attenuation values of 1 to 30 dB available. Power Divider

The model 1550A is a power divider specifically designed for use in the wireless communications bands. It operates over the DC to 3 GHz (usable to 5 GHz) band and offers good amplitude of ±0.5 dB and phase of ±10° tracking between ports. This low cost four-way power divider offers 1.25 SWR, 1 W input power, rugged construction and an operating temperature of 55° to +100°C.

Phase/Frequency Detectors

The model HMC439QS16G and model HMC440QS16G are HBT digital phase-frequency detectors (PFD) intended for use in low noise, phase lock loop applications for inputs from 10 to 1300 MHz. Synthesizer designs can choose either the HMC439QS16G single function PFD or the HMC440QS16G PFD with an integrated DC to 2800 MHz five-bit counter. The counter offers continuous division from 2 to 32. Both products are housed in plastic SMT 16-lead QSOP packages that have an exposed base for good RF and thermal performance. Combining a high operating frequency of 10 to 1300 MHz, along with an ultra low SSB phase noise floor of -153 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset, both models make synthesizers with wide loop bandwidth and low N possible. The result is fast switching and low synthesizer phase noise.

Chip Resistors

These new thick film chip resistors offer ohmic values ranging from 0.1 to 1000 G . These chip resistors are ideally suited for numerous instrumentation and calibration applications, as well as high voltage regulation, power switching, RF and microwave circuits and power supplies, on board types ranging from hybrids to printed circuit board mounting. Triplexer Filter

The 5IM10-30/XQ400-N/N is a filter that offers < 1.0 dB insertion loss across passbands 30 to 88 MHz, 116 to 136 MHz and 225 to 400 MHz, while maintaining rejection of 40 dB at 116, 88, 156 and 136 to 174 MHz. Two-channel Switch Filter Bank

The 2SFB-3000/85-500-SR is a two-channel switch filter bank centered at 3 GHz. This unit features a narrowband 85 MHz channel and a broadband 500 MHz channel. The bank provides 5.0 dB maximum insertion loss at fC and 70 dB stopband attenuation points. The power requirements feature a single +5 V supply with < 50 mA current consumption and two-bit control logic. The mechanical housing includes SMA-female field replaceable connectors and has been machined out of aluminum to maintain a light weight package. Coaxial Diplexer

The model AX05-0008 is a coaxial diplexer that features low insertion loss, high isolation, good temperature stability and offers compact size. It operates at a frequency range of 5730 to 5840 MHz; T/R spacing is 81 MHz. This diplexer CHAN 1 filter bandwidth is 5730 to 5764 MHz and CHAN 2 is 5811 to 5845 MHz. The return loss (all ports) is 16 dB and the insertion loss (all ports) is 1.8 dB. The diplexer operates in the temperature range of -30° to +70°C.

Multipin Headers

These multipins™ address the many space and time saving issues facing high frequency designers today. These multipin headers come in a variety of styles from 2 pin to 16 or more pins. They are built for both RF and DC applications up to 40 GHz and are even available with combined RF and DC functionality in the same header. While the space and time saving issues of combining feedthrus into a single header is evident, the real value lies in the fact that filtering is also built in, thereby eliminating the typical step of having to hardwire capacitors internally to reduce interference.

Replacement Filter

This five-channel YIG-replacement filter provides five selectable RF filter channels over a wide frequency range with ultimate rejections out to 26 GHz. Modular construction allows customization of band splits to provide continuous overlapping band performance. The individual channels can be configured over a wide range of frequencies from 6 to 20 GHz. The channels are Chebychev and interdigital bandpass cavity filters. SMT/Standard Terminations

These surface-mount and standard high power chip terminations are tuned for telecom frequencies. These terminations offer an improved return loss and are tuned for cellular, GSM, PCS and UMTS frequency bands. The SMT terminations use an industry-standard footprint while encompassing a patented asymmetrical wrap. This wrap utilizes additional ground plane area for heat transfer to a heat sink or solder vias. The SMT and CT termination lines use thick film construction and are available on BeO, aluminum nitride or alumina substrates. Micro-machined Filter

The 3D micro-14/5 filter offers a high Q-factor in board level packaging. These filters are processed on four silicon wafers, bonded together and diced into individual filters. The high-Q filter integrates on to microstrip or CPW RF circuit boards. Connector Clamp

This connector clamp fits onto the back end of standard RF coaxial connectors to reinforce cable assemblies subjected to excessive twisting and flexing. The SR-series clamp attachment features a rolling clamp nut design that provides greater axial and rotational support than typical shrink tubing strain reliefs. Simple to screw onto the back of RF coaxial connectors, this clamp attachment prevents distortion of the cable, which can be caused by over-tightening and offers added protection from repeated flexing. Custom Networks

This line of custom high power networks utilizes thin film on environmentally friendly aluminum nitride. The new custom circuits provide the flexibility needed to meet today's high density, high power, low TCR, close thermal tracking and high stability requirements for microwave and other microelectronic applications. The model PEC3-15-0R00218-15-10-SFF is an amplifier that offers 15 dB typical gain from 2 MHz to 18 GHz. Solid-state Power Amplifier

The model 5156 is a 500 W solid-state power amplifier with a frequency band of 0.8 to 2.5 GHz. Integrated Variable Gain Amplifiers

The VG101 and VG111 are integrated VGAs that maintain constant intercept and compression point performance over the entire gain control range. Today's discrete solutions are typically much more complex and require relatively large amounts of board area. Special features include a wide dynamic range of over 35 dB and a 4.3 dB noise figure at maximum gain. These products operate from a single positive bias supply. Design Software

This release of Ansoft Designer™ v1.1 software is for the design of high frequency electronic components, circuits and systems. The new version features a Solver on Demand™ link between Ansoft Designer and Ansoft's HFSS™, a 3D electromagnetic design tool. Designers and engineers can dynamically incorporate the effects of arbitrary 3D structures within high frequency electronic simulations. Solver on Demand allows users to control the flow of information between the two products with parametric control of physical dimensions, material properties, excitations and frequency ranges. Results are automatically embedded into Ansoft Designer, greatly reducing the engineering time and product-development costs associated with high performance components commonly found in telecommunications, aerospace and defense applications. Designers can now fully utilize an advanced schematic-based design flow while incorporating the effects of high frequency and high speed components.

Simulator Version

The S-parameter-based mixed domain SPICE simulator version (MDSPICE) 3.2 allows robust and accurate time transient analysis based upon S-parameters. The time domain simulation results based upon S-parameters normally can meet the causality condition. The MDSPICE 3.2 also features a frequency dependent RLC extraction from wide band S-parameters. The extracted RLC circuit is compatible with standard SPICE simulators. VME Broadband Synthesizer

The three-slot VME, ultra high performance, broadband synthesizer covers a frequency range from 0.05 to 18 GHz. The indirect broadband synthesizers (IBS) are based on PLL design technology with an internal DDS for fine resolution. Direct Synthesizers

The DS synthesizers are quiet, fast, broadband and precise. With one microsecond or less typical switching time, the DS delivers ample speed to meet the required response times of most automatic test systems and frequency-agile equipment. The available frequency range of 10 MHz to 20.48 GHz covers a wide variety of applications. When very fine steps are necessary, the 1 Hz step size capability allows the frequency to be controlled to a precision of ±10-10. Frequency-select Synthesizer

These phase-locked frequency-selectable synthesizers feature three bits of internal TTL binary logic, enabling users to select up to eight frequencies within the synthesizers' frequency range from 10 MHz to 4 GHz (in bands). These synthesizers utilize internal or customer-supplied external frequency references (2 to 125 MHz) for high stability, and exhibit low phase noise characteristics. Surface-mount TCXO

The model ZT600 is a high stability, surface-mount TCXO. The ZT600 series TCXOs offers tight stability down to ±0.1 ppm overtemperature, and use only a fraction of the power required by an ovenized oscillator. There is no warm-up time for the TCXO. The ZT600 series features a low profile, 1.0 inch square package and is available from 10 to 120 MHz with square wave output. The ZT601 offers sine wave output and is available to 300 MHz. YIG-tuned Oscillators

The MLLP-series permanent magnet YIG-tuned oscillators cover the frequency range of 2 to 12 GHz and operate from a single +8 V supply.
