Integrated Device Technology (IDT) and RFMW have announced a distribution agreement, where RFMW will represent IDT's RF and RF timing products globally. RFMW is a specialized distributor solely focused on RF and microwave components and semiconductors. RFMW also provides custom engineering support for RF components.
From an initial position in clocks and timing, IDT has been expanding its silicon-based RF product offering, initially focusing on sub-6 GHz wireless and CATV infrastructure and now adding millimeter wave products to play in emerging 5G applications. For the 2018 fiscal year, IDT reported revenue of $843 million, 16 percent growth above fiscal 2017 (more about IDT).
Duncan Pilgrim, vice president of IDT's RF products division, said, “This agreement with RFMW gives our customers access to a team with RF engineering expertise that can advise on product selection and simplify the design process. With technical sales support and their focus on value-added services, they will allow a broader set of customers to experience our expanding portfolio of high-performance RF products.”
