RFMW Ltd. announces design and sales support for a pair of Peregrine Semiconductor, high frequency, silicon on insulator (SOI) switches. The PE42525 and PE426525 are SPDT switches operating from 9 KHz to 60 GHz. Both switches offer fast, 8 nS switching time and high input linearity of 48 dBm IIP3.

The PE42525 finds applications in test & measurement, microwave backhaul and communications systems with industry standard, -40 to +105 degrees C temperature ranges. The PE426525 is targeted towards harsh industrial applications requiring extended temperature support from -55 to +125 degrees C.  Fast switching time makes either switch ideal for radar applications. Typical insertion loss varies from 0.9 to 2.7dB across the band, improving receiver sensitivity. Input 1dB compression point at 30GHz is 2W; offering best in class power handling for wideband switches. These Peregrine switches are offered in flip-chip DIE form and pin compatible to each other.
