Anaren Microwave, Inc., a subsidiary of Anaren, Inc. announced it has received a $5 million order from a leading defense prime contractor for hardware support of an airborne electronic warfare application. The order was booked at the end of last quarter and is expected to ship over the next several quarters.
“Anaren Microwave was able to fully leverage the vertically integrated design and production capabilities of the company to present our customer with this cost effective, highly integrated RF solution,” said Mark Kosalek, vice president, business development of Anaren's Space & Defense Group. “Having control of the integrated microwave assembly design and supply chain from the ceramic substrates, printed circuit board, microelectronic multi-chip modules and top level assembly and test, presents a unique advantage for Anaren in the defense market and for this specific program application," states Kosalek.
