The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Wireless and Microwave Technology Conference (WAMICON), announced the 18th annual event which will take place in Cocoa Beach, Fla. The conference, which will focus on power amplifiers, semiconductors and software for 5G wireless communications and the Internet of Things (IoT), will take place from April 24-25, 2017.
The conference will address up-to-date multidisciplinary research needs and interdisciplinary aspects of high efficiency power amplifiers, linearization enhancement techniques, and device modeling. The technical track includes various microwave applications, including wireless sensing, energy harvesting, radar, and nano devices/circuits. The program includes both oral and poster presentations as well as tutorials and special sessions.
“As wireless and microwave technologies continue to grow in importance in our everyday lives, engineers make advancements in segments, such as 5G and IoT to find ways to increase data rates, increase efficiency, and more effectively use the spectrum available.” said general chair Craig Sapashe. WAMICON will return to Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront on Florida’s space coast. A block of rooms has been secured at a discounted rate, inviting attendees to enjoy the conference at a four-star hotel.
