Satellite Hand-held Telephone VCO
The model V607TE02 VCO is designed for use in satellite hand-held telephone applications. The unit generates frequencies from 1404 to 1439 MHz within 0.4 to 2.8 V DC of control voltage, making it suitable for quick integration into any PLL where the error voltage can be taken directly from the IC's charge pump circuitry. The unit exhibits a spectrally clean signal of -100 dBc/Hz (typ) at 10 kHz from the carrier. In addition, the low noise device conserves battery life by operating off a 3 V DC supply while only drawing 9 mA (typ). The VCO attenuates the harmonics to better than -19 dBc and operates over the extended commercial temperature range of -25° to +75°C. The pushing specification is less than 5 MHz/V within a five percent change of the supply voltage while pulling is less than 5 MHz with a 14 dB return loss, any phase. Price: $15.95 each (minimum five pieces). Delivery: stock to six weeks.

High Frequency Surface-mount VCXO
The VSM series surface-mount voltage-controlled crystal oscillators (VCXO) feature high frequency capabilities up to 100 MHz. Available in four- and six-pin models, the units operate at 5 V DC or 3.3 V with frequency stabilities of +/-20, +/-25 and +/-50 ppm over a temperature range as wide as -40° to +85°C and deviations up to +/-100 ppm over a control voltage range of 0.5 to 4.5 V DC. All models are hermetically sealed in a compact 9 mm x 14 mm ceramic package with a grounded metal case in LCC or solder-dipped J-leaded designs. The VCXOs also feature low jitter of 5 ps RMS (max) and low phase noise performance due to the use of fundamental-mode crystals in the design.
