Ku-band Upconverter
The model U-94-127181 upconverter provides three uplink frequency bands with continuous tuning in 125 kHz (min) frequency step sizes, including 12.75 to 13.25 GHz, 13.75 to 14.5 GHz and 17.3 to 18.1 GHz. The upconverter has low phase noise with both frequency and level controlled by the front-panel keypad in local mode and by an RS485 remote interface (or optional RS422, RS232, IEEE488 or contact closure) in remote mode. The small size (2 RU high) and multi-band operation make the unit useful in mobile applications.

Rack-mountable Linearizers
The WAFL series rack-mountable linearizers are available for S-, C-, X-, Ku-, K- and Ka-band applications. The units are designed for use with traveling-wave tube and klystron amplifiers and typically provide a four-fold increase in output power for a 30 dB carrier-to-intermodulation ratio. With a digitally modulated single-carrier signal, an increase of greater than 2 dB in effective output power can be obtained for 25 dB of spectral regrowth. For multicarrier traffic, a reduction in distortion products of greater than 10 dB can be achieved. Size: 19.00" x 1.71" x 12.13".
