5G and IoT Supplement
These low cost synthesizers utilize a three-wire serial control interface and exhibit low noise, low spurious levels, low power consumption, fine frequency resolution and small size. Specifications include an output frequency of 500 MHz to 3 GHz with up to 50 percent bandwidths, resolution of 1 kHz to 1 MHz (typ) output power of +10 dBm (typ), reference input of 1 to 100 MHz (typ), phase noise of 100 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset (typ) and spurious of –70 dBc (typ). Power supplies are +5 Vcc, +5 to +9 VPD or internally regulated. The units operate at a temperature range from –20° to +70°C.

The MVS series surface-mount oscillators now features a J-leaded ceramic package version utilizing a standard footprint. The unit is available in a frequency range of 3 to 82 MHz with stability of +/-25 ppm over a –40° to +85°C operating temperature. Tristate output is available as an option in a six-lead package. Pullability of +/-100 ppm is achievable with a 0.5 to 4.5 V control voltage. The grounded lid of the unit offers reduced EMI emissions.

Low Phase Noise VCO
The model PV-1440C low phase noise VCO is designed for local multipoint distribution system applications, and operates over a 1410 to 1440 MHz frequency range. The unit offers a low phase noise of –110 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset and –130 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz offset from the center frequency. The second harmonic suppression is better than –32 dBc. The VCO has a 5 V supply voltage and a power output of 6 dBm. The operating temperature range is from –40° to 85°C. Size: 0.500" x 0.500" x 0.205".

Low Phase Noise Microwave Source
The M4100 series crystal-controlled source provides fixed frequencies from 500 MHz to 2.5 GHz and features low PM/AM noise and spurious. Phase noise is –103 dBc/Hz at 100 Hz, –127 dBc/Hz at 1 kHz and –135 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz with a –135 dBc/Hz floor for a 1.6 GHz unit. Frequency stability is +/-5 ppm over an operating temperature range of –20° to +60°C. The source operates on +15 V DC +/-2 percent and draws 115 mA (typ). In addition, output level is +13 dBm (min), harmonics are –60 dBc, subharmonics are –60 dBc, spurious rejection is –90 dBc and output connectors are SMA-F. Size: 5.13" x 1.75" x 1.50".
