Marki Microwave recently released microlithic IQ mixers covering 4 to 16 GHz and 2 to 18 GHz bands. Now the company is extending IQ mixer coverage to millimeter wave frequencies with the MLIQ-1845.
This mixer, with a massive 20 GHz IF frequency, is capable of upconverting both I and Q components of DC to Ku band signals into millimeter wave frequencies. When used as part of an optical data link, it can carry multiple 25 Gb/s signals simultaneously. The unknown applications are endless. It is available in both a wire-bondable chip and connectorized package.
