Rohde & Schwarz Asia Pte Ltd. and the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) have signed a Memorandum of Intent (MoI) to partner Singapore in its vision to transform into the world’s first Smart Nation.
The company was chosen for its strength and expertise in wireless communications, radio frequency engineering and development of test equipment products in Singapore. The MoI seeks to enable both parties to collaborate on developing innovative solutions in Heterogeneous Network (HetNet) technology solutions, defining the next generation 5G networks and building a strong network security as the foundation for a Smart Nation.
