One of Hong Kong's leading mobile operators, China Mobile Hong Kong, selected Ericsson as the sole supplier to further enhance its converged LTE FDD/TDD and Evolved Packet Core network. The new capabilities will bring more benefits to China Mobile Hong Kong's subscribers.
The network enhancement spans a wide range of capabilities including voice over LTE (VoLTE), Ericsson Charging System, Evolved IP network solution, and Proactive Support Services. These capabilities will further enhance the user experience and optimize the operation of the network.

Ericsson has been the sole supplier of China Mobile Hong Kong's LTE FDD network, and its network partner for more than 19 years. The company was also selected to expand the operator's commercial LTE network with TD-LTE (LTE TDD) in Hong Kong.
