Keysight Technologies Inc. announced that Gregg Peters, vice president and general manager, Keysight Component Test Division, was recently appointed as the first chairman of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department Heads Association (ECEDHA) Corporate Advisory Council (CAC).

“We are pleased to have Gregg's commitment as chairman of the ECEDHA Corporate Advisory Council on behalf of Keysight Technologies,” stated Dr. John Peeples, head of the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at The Citadel, and president of ECEDHA. “As a founding member, Gregg has made significant contributions to the council since its inception. ECEDHA and I believe that Gregg’s leadership will enhance the value gained by council members from their participation and interaction with the ECEDHA board of directors.”

ECEDHA is composed of heads and chairs of departments offering accredited programs in electrical and/or computer engineering and includes members from almost 90 percent of all qualified U.S. university programs. The CAC serves as the principle liaison between the council and the ECEDHA board of directors providing industry feedback and valuable recommendations.

Keysight Technologies, formerly Agilent Technologies' electronic measurement group, was the first corporate member of ECEDHA and has been involved in its Annual Conference and ECExpo since companies from industry were initially invited to participate in 2010.

“We have a great relationship with ECEDHA,” said Gregg Peters. “We find value in what ECEDHA offers and gain insight into what is important and of interest for the vast majority of our university customers. My goal is to increase the benefit of the CAC to both ECEDHA and all of its industry members.”
