MITEQ Inc., has been selected by Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Electronic Systems sector to supply critical radiofrequency components for the JPSS (Joint Polar Satellite System) program.

These components will be integrated into Northrop Grumman’s ATMS (Advanced Technology Microwave Sounder) instrument.  JPSS-1 is the first of the next generation of satellites to be managed by NOAA with NASA as the JPSS program’s procurement agency.

NOAA’s JPSS program is a national satellite program currently in production that supplies high quality observational data that is needed to sustain our nation’s current and future weather forecast capability.  This multi-million dollar project will continue MITEQ’s thirty year legacy of supplying space qualified radio frequency components.
