Beijing, China -  Focus Microwave,  a leading expert and manufacturer of  measurement systems for RF/microwave semiconductor device characterization, have announced their expanded participation at EDI CON 2015 to be held April 14-16 at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Focus will present a technical workshop (details to be announced) and host the Focus exhibition booth in partnership with Farran and Sino Microwave.  The company will be featuring a variety of solutions in support of high-frequency electronic design for RF/wireless applications including Focus Microwaves’ broadband (10MHz to 110GHz) automatic impedance tuners and on-wafer integrated load pull and noise measurement systems .

“Focus has participated in EDI CON since its inception and we have found that this event’s industry focused content attracts the exact kind of RF/microwave design engineers we wish to engage and educate on device characterization solutions.” , said Mr. Sun Xianfu as General Manager of Focus China. “We are pleased to be able to expand our commitment this year along with Farran and Sino Microwave”

At EDI CON 2015, Focus will be highlighting standard and customized solutions for R&D and production testing as stand-alone hardware and fully-integrated systems.

·         Wideband noise parameter extraction

·         Nonlinear active and passive load-pull (CW and pulsed)

·         Harmonic and time-domain load-pull

·         On-wafer turn-key solutions including vibration-free probe stations and pre-matching bend-lines

About EDI CON

EDI CON is an industry-driven conference/exhibition targeting RF, microwave, EMC/EMI, and high-speed digital design engineers and system integrators developing products for today's communication, computing, RFID, wireless, navigation, aerospace and related markets. The technical program and exhibition includes the leading international RFIC, component and material manufacturers, semiconductor foundries, EDA software and test equipment/solution providers. This year’s conference features the most recent trends in high-frequency electronics and wireless communication technology, addressing all aspects of design, simulation and test verification through an understanding of system requirements for wireless communication networks such as small cell infrastructure, SATCOM and microwave backhaul.

About Focus Microwaves

Focus Microwaves is an engineering company designing and manufacturing automatic impedance tuners from 10 MHz to 110 GHz and on-wafer integrated Load-pull and Noise Measurement Systems. Since 1989 Focus products helped designers of power and low-noise amplifiers to shorten their development cycles to gain a competitive edge. Focus's customers' demands helped Focus create most products and applications in this field. The result is over 800 Focus systems using more than 2100 automatic tuners to date. The Company holds most relevant patents related to electromechanical impedance tuners.

Focus' headquarters, lab and manufacturing is based in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec, Canada. Please visit Focus at www.focus-microwaves.com.
