Mercury Systems receives $4.4M in orders for advanced RF products for signals intelligence application

Mercury Systems Inc., www.mrcy.com, a leading provider of affordable, commercially developed, open sensor processing systems and services for critical commercial, defense and intelligence applications, announced it received $4.4 million in orders from a leading defense prime contractor for advanced radio frequency (RF) microwave tuner and intermediate frequency (IF) products for a naval signals intelligence (SIGINT) application. The orders were booked in the Company’s fiscal 2014 fourth quarter and are expected to be shipped by its fiscal 2015 second quarter.

“Mercury's expertise in developing RF and IF solutions that detect, intercept and defeat signals of interest is ideally suited to the electronic warfare challenges faced by prime contractors,” said Didier Thibaud, President of Mercury’s Commercial Electronics business unit. “This order exemplifies how Mercury’s technology enables our customers to deliver systems that provide the critical electronic warfare information our warfighters need to make timely and accurate operational decisions.”
