snap-on connectorThe SMP snap-on connector has become a popular RF connector for use in high density RF system packaging.

SHP has developed additional variants of these connectors, which improve their attachment characteristics. These include a robust aluminum compatible connector and a robust kovar compatible connector for solder applications.

These connectors are more easily assembled and provide superior hermetic performance in thermal cyclic environments.

SHP now supplies these new variants as well as the common SMP connectors. In certain cases, it is feasible and more economical to incorporate the SMP connector directly into a kovar housing machining, thus eliminating the solder interface.

Contact us today for engineering guidance on these extensive SMP options to ensure maximum reliability of your product and minimize costs.
