Richardson RFPD introduces new 40.5–43.5 GHz receiver with high IIP3 from MACOM
Richardson RFPD Inc. announces immediate availability and full design support capabilities for a new 40.5–43.5 MHz receiver with high third-order intercept point (IIP3) from M/A-COM Technology Solutions (MACOM).
The MADC-010736is an integrated USB receiver solution with an IIP3 of +9 dBm (typical at IF=2 GHz), a noise figure of 3.5 dB, and a typical conversion gain of 12 dB. The MADC-010736 includes an integrated LO buffer, LO doubler, low noise amplifier (LNA), and balanced image reject mixer. It is ideally-suited for 42 GHz band point-to-point radio applications.
The integrated mixer provides image rejection of 30 dBc. I and Q mixer outputs are provided, and an external 90° hybrid is required to complete the image rejection function. The device is packaged in a 6-mm laminate package that is RoHS compliant and compatible with reflow temperatures to 260 °C, allowing it to be assembled using standard surface mount production lines.
