Richardson RFPD introduces new 12 to 16 GHz integrated down converter from UMS

Richardson RFPD Inc.  introduces a new 12 to 16 GHz integrated down converter from United Monolithic Semiconductors S.A.S. (UMS).

The CHR3763 is a multifunction monolithic receiver, which integrates a balanced cold FET mixer, an LO buffer, and an RF low noise amplifier. It is ideally-suited for Ku-band VSAT applications, as is also versatile for a wide range of other applications, from military to commercial communications systems. The device is manufactured with a pHEMT process, with a 0.25μm gate length. It is offered in an RoHS-compliant SMD package.

 Additional key features of the CHR3763 include:

  •  Broadband performance: 12–16 GHz
  • 12 dB conversion gain
  • 2.3 dB noise figure
  • 0 dBm input IP3
  • DC bias: Vd = 3.0V @ Id = 80mA
  • 24L 4x4 mm QFN package
  • MSL1
