Richardson RFPD Inc. introduces a new 5.5 to 9 GHz integrated down converter from United Monolithic Semiconductors S.A.S. (UMS).

The CHR3762 is a multifunction monolithic receiver, which integrates a balanced cold FET mixer, an LO buffer, and an RF low noise amplifier. It is ideally-suited for point-to-point applications, as is also versatile for a wide range of other applications, from military to commercial communications systems. The device is manufactured with a pHEMT process, with a 0.25μm gate length, via holes through the substrate, air bridges and electron beam gate lithography. It is offered in an RoHS-compliant SMD package.

Additional key features of the CHR3762 include:

  • Broadband performance: 5.5–9 GHz
  • 14 dB conversion gain
  • 1.7 dB noise figure
  • +3 dBm input IP3
  • DC bias: Vd = 3.0V @ Id = 100mA
  • 24L 4x4 mm QFN package
  • MSL1
