Richardson RFPD Inc. announces a new 2500 to 6000 MHz, 100 W solid state high power amplifier from Empower RF Systems Inc. (Empower).
The 1191/BBM5K8CKT is guaranteed to deliver 100W minimum output power and related RF performance under all specified temperature and environmental conditions. Typical power output is 125 W. This amplifier is suitable for broadband mobile jamming and band specific high power linear applications in the S and C frequency bands. This compact module utilizes the latest high power RF gallium nitride (GaN) transistors and also features built in control and monitoring, with protection functions to ensure high availability.
The amplifier module is 8.0” x 6.5” x 1.0” in size and features built-in control and monitoring, with protection functions. The control system core has a built–in non-volatile memory for event recording and factory setup recovery features.
