Conductive Rubber: What it is and where it's used
RFMW Ltd., announces the availability of a new white paper explaining the properties and advantages of various conductive rubber materials for use in RFI/EMI mitigation. Authored by the vice president of electrical engineering at MAJR Products, an internationally recognized manufacturer of electromagnetic interference / radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) Shielding Products located in Northwest Pennsylvania, the paper highlights three common material types; Multicon, Conductive Elastomer and Radthin. Process techniques are outlined with links to additional information. A specification table aids in product selection for those considering the use of conductive rubber materials in their designs. MAJR Products are supported through their distribution partner, RFMW, Ltd. a specialty RF/Microwave component distributor.
