Rugged, Cost-effective Fiber-optic Link
The model AC 102 IF/fiber-optic link offers a low loss means to transmit the RF signal between the antenna and the base station, allowing wireless broadband systems equipment suppliers to deploy the minimum amount of equipment at the remote antenna site. Because of this link, installation costs are improved, as well as maintenance and system reliability. In addition, the base station equipment can be located centrally, minimizing the antenna tower size and equipment space acquisition. Net gain of the link is 0 dB, IP3 is 25 dBm and equivalent input noise floor is -130 dBm. The RF interface is via a 50 W SMA connector.
