Richardson RFPD Inc. announced an expanded video selection in its award-winning online Design Resource Center.

The videos cover a range of topics, from new product introductions to design tutorials and product family overviews. The newest additions to the video library include:

  • Microsemi VSWR - Load Mismatched Ruggedness: Microsemi's VRF Series was developed to address VSWR, or load mismatch ruggedness—a prime consideration when selecting MOSFET devices for use in high power amplifiers. Microsemi uses its 50V, 300W VRF2933 device in the video to demonstrate the ruggedness and capabilities of the VRF family of power MOSFETs, including the recently-released 50V, 400W VRF2944 and 100V, 300W VRF3933.
  • TriQuint Radar Innovation: For more than a quarter-century, TriQuint has provided highly-reliable, advanced RF solutions for defense and commercial infrastructure. The overwhelming majority of all U.S. tactical aircraft today use TriQuint technology.
  • MACOM Shunt Diodes Technical Series #1 and #2: MACOM's principal applications engineer for diode-based products, Joe Bukowski, introduces viewers to family of shunt pin diodes in 1.2 mm x 1.5 mm plastic packaging, including the MADP-011027-141, MADP-011028-141 and MADP-011029-141.
  • ADI's AD9361 Integrated Wideband Transceiver: Designed to enable programmable radio applications that operate over a wide range of modulation schemes and network specifications, the AD9361 operates over a frequency range of 70 MHz to 6 GHz and is a complete transceiver in a box that simplifies design, reduces BOM cost and delivers the widest dynamic range and specifications available.

In addition to a robust technical library of application notes, tutorials, white papers and videos, Richardson RFPD's Design Resource Center offers a full slate of design tools, including application design assistance, block diagrams, calculators and converters, cross reference support, design kits and evaluation boards, line cards, selector guides, and technology-specific Tech Hubs. In 2013, the Company was named as one of the Best Training and Education websites in Microwaves & RF's first annual Best of Microwaves Industry Awards.
