ADI Gain Blocks PR PhotoRichardson RFPD, Inc. announces immediate availability and full design support capabilities for four new broadband RF gain blocksfrom Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI).

The new gain blocks are single-ended RF/IF gain block amplifiers that operate from 30 MHz to 6 GHz and offer up to 24 dB gain and 40 dBm third-order intercept point (OIP3). They are stable over frequency, temperature and power supply, enabling high performance with low power consumption. The gain blocks feature integrated bias control circuits, are fabricated on an InGaP HBT process, have high ESD ratings of +/-1.5 kV (Class 1C) and are offered in industry-standard SOT-89 packages.

They are internally-matched to 50Ω at the input and output, making them easy to implement in a wide variety of applications, including cellular infrastructure, avionics and defense, and ISM.The only external components required are the input/output AC coupling capacitors, power supply decoupling capacitors, and DC bias inductor.
