Richardson RFPD Inc. introduces a new 6-bit digital step attenuator from United Monolithic Semiconductors S.A.S. (UMS).

The CHT4016-QEG operates from 4 to 14 GHz and provides an attenuation range of 31.5 dB in 0.5 dB steps. It is versatile for a wide range of applications, from military to commercial communication systems. The new device is manufactured with a 0.25 µm pHEMT process, with via holes through the substrate, air bridges, and electron beam gate lithography.

The CHT4016-QEG is available in chip form and in an RoHS-compliant, leadless SMD package.
