Low Frequency Isolator ePRNewly released from AtlanTecRF is a range of Wide Band Coaxial Isolators operating in the VHF and UHF frequency ranges and designated the LFI series.

Offering up to an octave of band width at frequencies as low as 100 MHz, this range of products in 50 ohm impedance represents a first in solutions for both the RF design engineer and the RF test engineer.

These ferrite devices have power handling capability up to 50 W forward and all have built in terminations with 10 W capability.

Anticipated applications include low frequency communications, electronic counter-measures, jamming, VHF/UHF test set-ups as well as cellular systems and data transmission.

Standard connectors are Type N female, although SMA and other types are optional.

The operating temperature range of -20 to +70 C enables operation in a wide variety of environments, while still providing typical VSWR of 1.4:1 and 15 dB plus isolation.

Geoff Burling, AtlantecRF CEO, said “The five basic models in this series of exciting new isolators bring broadband performance, previously only available above 1 GHz, into the lower frequency bands and, of course, we will gladly entertain custom bands and configurations”.
