ITT Corp. announced that it has been awarded the Operations, Maintenance and Supply-Europe contract by the US Army's Information Technology, E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center-West (ITEC4-W), based in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The contract has an 11-month base period and four one-year option periods with a total potential value of $152 M. Work will be performed by ITT's Systems Division, headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO.


"ITT has a 40-year history of superior communications performance with the US Army and Air Force in Europe," stated Pete McKinney, president of ITT Systems Division. "Maintaining our partnership with NETCOM in support of its global communications mission will enable ITT to provide effective and responsive support to the 5th Signal Command's critical mission requirements throughout the European theatre."

The scope of work includes operations, maintenance, repair and supply support for communications systems, including the Global Information Grid (GIG), Video Teleconferencing (VTC) Sites, the Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) and support for forward-deployed locations. Contract activities will be performed in Germany, Italy, Bosnia, Kosovo and deployed locations in support of the US Army's 5th Signal Command.
