E2G Partners LLC, Cincinnati, OH, announced it has completed the acquisition of the assets of Tampa Microwave Lab Inc. (TMLI), a leader in microwave products for satellite communication systems. The company will continue to do business under its current name at its current facilities in Tampa, FL.

Tampa Microwave designs and manufactures microwave equipment for various ground-based commercial and government satellite communication programs. Their products include: block up and down converters, satellite communication system simulators, loop test translators, various custom rack mount subassemblies and many custom designed products.

Eric Guerrazzi, formerly president of KDI Precision Products, a wholly-owned subsidiary of L-3 Communications Inc., and managing director of E2G Partners, will assume the position of president of TMLI. The previous owner Jim Walworth will remain with the company as a senior design engineer.

“TMLI has established an enviable reputation for product technical performance, competent management and system reliability,” said Guerrazzi. “Their popular satellite simulators fill a need for communications training devices that permit active military organizations to test their terminals and train without consuming valuable satellite time. Their talented engineers and efficient production team have positioned them for significant growth in their current market segment.”
