NEC Corp. has launched iPASOLINK 100E, which is the latest addition to its iPASOLINK portfolio of transport network solutions. Network operators can benefit from iPASOLINK 100E’s high capacity microwave transmission with cutting edge Carrier Ethernet capabilities and low cost of ownership due to its ultra-compact hardware design.
It has the provision for the fast and cost effective provision of a wide range of carrier services including, among others, enterprise connectivity, public utility networks and mobile backhaul.
The iPASOLINK 100E indoor unit can be installed in one half of a 19-inch telecommunications rack or on a desktop within the limited space of IT facilities. The fan-less natural cooling system is claimed to consume 55 percent less power compared to other conventional microwave products.
