Skyworks Unveils Surface Mount Limiter Diodes for Receiver Protection Applications

Skyworks introduces three new surface mount limiter diodes for receiver protection applications. The surface mountable, low capacitance silicon PIN limiter diodes are designed as shunt connected PIN diodes for high power limiter functions ranging from 10 MHz to over 6 GHz.

These general market limiter diodes deliver low loss, very low series inductance, low capacitance and can handle high power with low thermal resistance (40°C/W). Target markets include infrastructure, military and consumer.
