RFMW and MAST announce worldwide distribution agreement
RFMW Ltd. and MAST Technologies announced a worldwide distribution agreement effective October 3, 2011. MAST Technologies is a leading designer and manufacturer of RF absorbing materials. RFMW Ltd. is a specialized distributor providing customers and suppliers with focused distribution of RF and microwave components as well as specialized component-engineering support.
According to the agreement, RFMW will distribute MAST Technologies broad portfolio of RF absorber material including cavity resonance and EMI absorbing elastomers, lossy and reticulated foam absorbers, as well as conductive and absorptive caulks and coatings that reduce EMI/EMC and RFI emissions.
“We are excited about our new relationship with RFMW“, said Andrew Sundsmo, president of MAST Technologies. “At MAST, we see the need for a customer focused, quick-to-respond, technically proficient organization, which is why we have decided to partner with RFMW. Our products are engineered to reduce or eliminate RF and microwave noise associated with electronic circuits by capturing the electromagnetic waves and converting them to heat. Leveraging RFMW’s account base and expertise in RF component support will make it easier for customers to find RF absorbing solutions which are tailored to their specific requirements.”
According to Joel Levine, president of RFMW Ltd., “Teaming with MAST Technologies allows us to offer a unique but valuable product that complements our existing product portfolio. MAST Technologies absorptive materials are a natural extension to our semiconductor and passive devices. MAST Technologies design kits have already proven to be a successful method of introducing customers to the various available options”. Mr. Levine added “Our short term goal is introducing our customer base to MAST Technologies and developing new business opportunities. In many cases, absorbing material is a ‘must have’ product and MAST has the experience and resources to support quick-turn requirements.”
