L-com Inc., a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, has entered into a distribution agreement with Electronica LAMA, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. The agreement includes the import of electronic parts, cables, antennas and connectors manufactured by L-com to be sold locally across the Dominican Republic.

Electronica LAMA has been in business since 1972 and is recognized as a leader in the electronic and telecommunications industry set to make record sales in 2012 due to emerging technologies being implemented in the country. Electronica LAMA has a main office, retail store front and two warehouse locations. The company carries over 25 world-class brands of products, and they are an independent distributor of Wind Telecom's wireless cable, internet and telephone services.

L-com's HyperLink brand products have been sold in the Dominican Republic since 2003. This new agreement is set to increase L-com's product availability there to meet the growing demand for quality wired and wireless equipment.

"Working with L-com will help us provide the products our customers need at prices and availabilities that will suit them well," said David Lama, President of Electronica LAMA. "Electronica LAMA is a pillar of electronics excellence in the Dominican Republic, and we’re happy to have made this important connection," said Mark Jaworski, International Sales Manager for L-com.
