Two new 4 x 4 mm SMT package LNAs cover 6 – 26.5 GHz

Chelmsford, MA, – Mar. 21, 2011 – Hittite Microwave Corporation, the world class supplier of complete MMIC based solutions for communication and military markets, has introduced two new SMT packaged GaAs pHEMT / HEMT MMIC Low Noise Amplifiers which are ideal for microwave radio, military and space and test instrumentation applications from 6 to 26.5 GHz.

The HMC962LC4 and HMC963LC4 are low noise amplifiers which are rated from 7.5 to 26.5 GHz and from 6 to 26.5 GHz respectively. They also feature high dynamic range and excellent input and output return losses, making them ideal for military and test instrumentation applications. The HMC962LC4 has been designed to provide noise figure as low as 2.5 dB with up to 13 dB of gain and +23 dBm output IP3 from a single supply of +3.5 V @ 70 mA. The HMC963LC4 has been designed to provide noise figure as low as 2.5 dB with up to 22 dB of gain and +18 dBm output IP3 from a single supply of +3.5 V @ 45 mA. These low noise amplifiers, HMC962LC4 and HMC963LC4, are also capable of supplying up to +10 and +13 dBm P1dB output power respectively, which enables them to function as LO drivers for Hittite's wide range of balanced, I/Q or image reject mixers.

The HMC962LC4 and HMC963LC4 are housed in RoHS compliant 4 x 4 mm ceramic SMT packages, feature I/Os that are DC blocked and internally matched to 50 Ohms and are ideal for integration into compact military and test instrumentation modules. Samples and evaluation PC boards for all SMT packaged products are available from stock and can be ordered via the company's e-commerce site or via direct purchase order. Released data sheets are available on-line at the company’s website. Click the link below our logo on this page.
