Balanced Low Noise, High Linearity Amplifier

The MGA-16516 (400 MHz to 1000 MHz) and MGA-17516 (1700 MHz to 2700 MHz) are the latest addition to Avago’s family of ultra low noise, high gain, high linearity GaAs balanced LNAs. They are designed to be used as first stage LNAs of cellular base station transceiver radio cards, tower mounted amplifiers (TMA), combiners, repeaters and remote/digital radio heads.

The MGA-16516 and MGA-17516 have ultra low noise and high gain achieved through the use of the 0.25 um GaAs E-pHEMT process. The compact footprint and common PCB layout across different frequency range from 400 MHz to 2700 MHz coupled with ultra-low noise, high gain and high linearity make them an ideal choice as a low noise amplifier for cellular (LTE, GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, CDMA2000 & TD-SCDMA) infrastructure applications.
