Southwest Microwave’s SSBP microwave coax contacts are now offered in sizes 8, 12, 16, and 20. SSBP contacts fit in standard non-coax contact cavities in off-the-shelf circular MIL-DTL-38999 series I, II and IV, D-Sub under MIL-PRF-24308, and slightly customized Micro-D under MIL-DTL-83513.

Different SSBP contact sizes and non-coax contacts can now all be placed in the same connector. This allows the engineer to take advantage of RF/microwave performance, packaging miniaturization/flexibility, systemic cost savings and improved reliability by just doing one connection.
